On May 11, 2017, a round table entitled “Distance technologies and business planning in enhancing business efficiency” was held at the Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University with the assistance of the Poltava Regional State Administration and the Department for Economic Development, Trade and Investment Promotion.
Among the participants of the event there were scientists, entrepreneurs, students and other invited guests interested in identifying priority areas for the development of entrepreneurial activities in the Poltava region and defining the role of business planning in the activities of a modern enterprise.
First of all, the results of their scientific research on this topic were presented by: Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Komelina O.V., Candidate of Economic Sciences, Chaikina A.A., Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Skrylnyk A.S., Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Gunchenko M.V., Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Dobryanska V.V., Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Zavora T.M. During the round-table meeting interesting presentations were also made by the representatives of enterprises of various fields of economic activity. Thus, Boroday V., an expert in the field of information business, the co-founder of the NGO “HUB 21”, spoke about the importance of electronic networks for achieving maximum marketing efficiency of the enterprise, as well as Burlak V., a farmer and a member of the Poltava regional public organization “Association of Farmers and Private Landowners of the Revival of Poltava region”, spoke about the state of agriculture in Poltava, problems and obstacles, which currently exist in the activities of agrarian enterprises.
All the reports caused an active discussion among those present.
The round-table meeting traditionally ended with summing up the results. It was determined that the constant interaction between public authorities, students, business representatives and public organizations is a necessary condition for increasing the efficiency of enterprises in the Poltava region.
